Vin Yin is a class designed to help you find balance by using the energetic aspects of Yang (heat)
and Yin (cool). Focusing first on Vinyasa style yoga, students will combine movement with breath
and focus on building strength. By building heat in the body, you’ll be able to release blocks and
impurities while increasing energy within. In the second half of class, students will cool the body
through Yin. Holding postures primarily on the floor for anywhere from 1-5 minutes, students
will focus on connective tissues to increase flexibility. While the physical benefits of this class are
apparent, you’ll be surprised how flowing the body in this way can also awaken other parts of
your “Self”. This class is designed for students who have some yoga experience with
advancements and modifications provided to students as needed.

WARM AND GENTLE

The same as gentle but with a little warmth! Adding heat helps our muscles to warm up easier and allow us to move into poses quicker. Always be mindful in classes with heat as our bodies can move further than usual when our muscles are warmed!
