Studio Etiquette

Here are some tips for creating a pleasant class for yourself and fellow students.

Plan to arrive ten minutes before class begins. This will give you enough time to check in, take off your shoes and socks, turn off your cell phone, and place items in the cubbies. If it is your first visit you will need to fill out a waiver form. Be sure to let the teacher know of any injuries or ailments you are experiencing, as they are trained in creating a supportive practice. Please understand that the beginning of class is an important time for centering the body and moving inward.

*Our studio doors will be locked during the class. We will open the doors 15-20 minutes before the start of each class.

Be gentle in voice, movement, thought, and attitude respecting yourself and those who come to yoga for a calm, safe, uplifting, truthful environment. Honor YOUR body at all times and meet yourself where you are. Yoga teaches us to quiet the mind and listen to our bodies as we find our edge and soften.

We appreciate you keeping the prop shelves neat as well as sanitizing any borrowed items post-practice.
